Course Delivery Methods
The Ohio University Master of Health Administration online program uses a multifaceted approach to deliver course content. Online videos, lectures, textbooks, tutorials, peer discussion sessions, self-checks, and Internet resources are some of the ways you will approach course content. Unlike in many other programs, you will experience a variety of learning methods. Every lesson, no matter the delivery method, is backed by theory and extended through application to real or simulated workplace situations.
Learn at home or anywhere
All course content is conveniently delivered right to you, and you can access this information anytime, anywhere you can connect with the Internet. Discussion forums, class e-mail, chats, assignments, exams and course materials are right at your fingertips. Many students find that it only takes one term to adjust to incorporating the average 15 to 20 hours of study time per week into their schedules. Following that pattern, the entire MHA program can be completed in as little as 2 years.
Learn together
Each term you will have the opportunity to work with small peer learning groups led by a professional facilitator who provides academic guidance. The groups will work together to complete projects and share real-world experiences – all in a virtual classroom. Small groups offer you the opportunity to access knowledge from professionals in a variety of health care fields and expand your professional network.
Learn through application
As you advance through the coursework, you will have the opportunity to apply concepts learned in class in real world situations.
